Egg donors

Our recruitment process

At Gyncentrum we use a well-thought-out donor recruitment strategy. The process of egg donation involves a carefully structured series of steps to enable individuals or couples facing fertility challenges to have the opportunity to build their families. Before becoming a donor at Gyncentrum, the candidates are screened for age, overall health, and reproductive history. After passing initial screening, donors undergo a comprehensive medical evaluation. This includes comprehensive blood tests, ultrasounds, psychological evaluation, and genetic study to assess their suitability as donors.

Out of all candidates willing to donate eggs at Gyncentrum, only 30% meet the eligibility requirements due to our strict exclusion criteria process. Only women with excellent physical and mental well-being are quailfied to Gyncentrum egg donation program.

The donor qualification criteria at Gyncentrum were developed based on international guidelines and good practices of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), standards of the Polish Society of Reproductive Medicine (PTMR), Polish Assisted Reproduction Law and European Union Directives which regulate the obtaining, donation, evaluation, traceability, storage and distribution of donor gametes.

Our strict egg donation process is in place to safeguard the health and well-being of both involved parties, donors and recipients, and ensure the highest chances of success in assisted reproduction procedures.
